Supermarine Spitfire F.XIVc RB166 (seen at Beauvechain shortly after its delivery on 17 April 1947) received the serial SG-2 and was attributed 349 Squadron code "GE-B". As the aircraft was lost only one month later in an accident at Beauvechain on 21 May 1947, the Belgian registration and squadron code were never painted on this Spitfire.
