Stampe & Vertongen SV-22

S/Lieutenant Florent Van Rolleghem in Stampe & Vertongen SV-22 V-33 at Wevelgem airfield in 1935. Van Rolleghem escaped to the United Kingdom via the ill-famed Miranda Camp in Spain. He became a bomber pilot with N° 103 Squadron and was awarded the DSO (Distinguished Service Order) and the DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross). After the war Van Rolleghem joined
the new Belgian Air Force and reached the rank of Lieutenant-General.
