His Hawker Hurricane I H-35 having been damaged on March 2nd, 1940 in combat with a Luftwaffe Do17Z, 1Sgt Edmond Lieutenant had to make an emergency landing in a field at Achené (25 km South of Namur). Fortunately the pilot escaped without injuries.
