Hawker Hunter F.6 IF-65/OV-P was delivered to the 8th Squadron of the 7th Wing on 16 April 1958. The aircraft is seen here at Gosselies in the spring of 1959, before being readied for overhaul and delivery to the 9th Wing, based at Bierset. Today this particular machine is the only surviving Mark 6 Hunter in Belgium and is display at a roundabout at Chièvres unfortunately painted in very unrealistic colors.
