Pilot Adjudant André "Quick" Kreit poses in front of Fairey Firefly IIM Y-12 of Squadron 1/I/2Aé (Comet) at Schaffen-Diest. Unfortunately Kreit was killed in the crash of his Firefly after a mid-air collision over Donk-Halen on 14 December 1934. Together with Lambrickx, Kreit had also constructed a small "home-build" aircraft called the Kreit-Lambrickx KL-2 (registered OO-ANP), which is on display at the Royal Army Museum in Brussels.
