de Brouckère Chief Pilot Paul Hanciau in front of a de Brouckère-Deperdussin monoplane. On August 6th, 1914 he joined the Compagnie d'Aviateurs with his personnal de Brouckère twin-seat monoplane. Later on in the war, Hanciau became a very well known fighter pilot.
