Single engine three-seat liaison aircraft.

 

    In mid 1939 the Congolese narrow gauche railroad company, Vicicongo, acquired Caudron C.282-8 Super Phalène OO-ATI (6746-16) from its Belgian owner. However, in early in 1940, the Belgian Weermacht/Force Publique requisitioned this machine to operate it as a liaison aircraft for its local operations. Unfortunately,  on 25 April 1943 the Super Phalène suffered a crash after which it was written off.
