Bristol F.2b Fighter Type 17 B-10 (crashed before the" L" designation was introduced) is hand-started at Evere airfield before the departure for Rotterdam (Nl.) where a squadron of the IIIrd group participated at the International Flying Competition of 1922. Unfortunately during the competition L-10 crashed, killing its pilot Lt. Fernand Sauveur .
