Hanriot Dupont H-D.14

Between 1920 and 1922 the Aviation Militaire evaluated one (possibly two) Hanriot H.D.14 trainers at the Pilot Training School at Asch. The aircraft  was in direct competition with the British Avro 504K, fifty-eight of which were eventually obtained by the Aviation Militaire. A similar aircraft pictured above as an example, appeared on the civil register in the early thirties as OO-ALA. It displays the trademark wheel cover colours of famous World War I military pilot Teddy Franchomme.
