Fiat CR.42 R-10 was damaged in a heavy landing at Nivelles airbase upon its delivery flight in early March 1940. The pilot Cpt Pierre Arend escaped without injuries. The aircraft was transported to the Ets. Aé at Evere for repairs and was still present there on May 10th, 1940.
