The 10th Airbus A330MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport) T063 arrives at Eindhoven (Nl.) airbase on delivery to the MMU (Multinational MRTT Unit) on 15 September 2010.

On September 15th, 2026 the MMU (Multinational MRTT Unit) at Eindhoven took delivery of the 10th Airbus A330MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport).
T-063 is the 10th example that enters service since the first aircraft (T-055) was delivered at Eindhoven on June 30th, 2020. The first 9 aircraft are based at Eindhoven (The Netherlands, 5 aircraft) and Köln-Bonn (Germany, 4 aircraft).
The MMU is a project that started as a collaboration between the Netherlands and Luxemburg in November 2014 under the name ‘Multinational MRTT Fleet’ (MMF). In 2017 they were joined by Norway and Germany, followed by Belgium (in 2018) and the Czech Republic (in 2019).
An initial order of eight aircraft was placed with Airbus Industries.
In 2020 an option for a 9th aircraft was converted into a firm order when Luxemburg decided to increase its share from 200 to 1200 flying hours per year.
On March 23rd, 2023 the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) took over the responsibility from OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-Operation). At the same moment a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the six countries for the acquition of a 10th aircraft, as shortly before Belgium had announced an additional requirement of 1100 flying hours per year).
On June 5th, 2025 another three countries ,Finland, Sweden and Denmark, signed a Letter of Intent for participation in the project. An order for a 11th and 12th aircraft places shortly after. The plan is that when these two enter the fleet a third Forward Operating Base at Karup (Denmark) will be used.
A330MRTT T-063 (c/n 2072) was build as a standard airliner and made its first flight on December 19th, 2024. On December 30th, 2024 it was ferried from Toulouse in France to the Airbus facility at Seville, Spain for conversion to MRTT. After a conversion and test period of almost 20th the aircraft was delivered to its new owners at Eindhoven where it was greeted by the traditional water salute performed by the Eindhoven airbase fire department.
