| Last MLU Lockheed F-16's arrive at Weelde to be placed in protective stored |
Lockheed F-16BM FB-08 was the first to arrive at Weelde on Monday 16 January 2006 at 11h30 local to be placed in protective storage on the base pending an eventual sale.
F-16BM FB-01 also arrives for its last (Belgian) landing at Weelde Airbase at 11h45 Local on 16 January 2006
FB-01 shutting down for the last time
Ready to be cocooned, two newly MLU upgraded Lockheed F-16BM's. Both aircraft did not return to service with the Air Force after being brought up to MLU standards which explains the impeccable paint job.
