An aerial view of the opening ceremony of Evere airfield on 29 September 1929. Unfortunately most of these building face demolition as it has been decided (September 2001) that the Air Force has to leave these premises. We can only hope that this site could be saved as part of Belgium's aeronautical patrimony.
