Sous-Lieutenant Charles "Sidi" Ciselet

Sous-Lieutenant Charles "Sidi" Ciselet in his Spad VII - Sp2 - of n° 5 Squadron "Comet". "Sidi" Ciselet was one of four brothers who joined the Aviation Militaire during the First World War. He was a born fighter pilot who flew many offensive patrols resulting, unfortunately, in at least two instances when he was severely injured. He survived the war with one official victory, only to die in an aircraft crash at Mortsel (Antwerp) on 1st of April 1931.
