De Havilland DH.114 Heron Four engined 14 seat communications aircraft
On 12 May 1954 one Heron was obtained by the Belgian authorities for use by the Governor General of the then Belgian Congo; (Call Sign CGG: Congo Gouverneur Général). After the independence of Congo this machine was used by Katangeese Premier Moïse Tshombe before being destroyed. |
