Between 1927 and 1928 twenty-two, Hispano 180 hp powered, RSV 22-180s were delivered to the Aéronautique Militaire by Stampe and Vertongen.

In June 1928 student-pilot Guillaume "landed" in a fence with RSV 22-180 V14.

V-19 after a crash landing at Wevelgem on December 12th 1929. Due
to engine problems the aircraft got into a spin and crashed.
Unfortunately both the flying Instructor Adj. August LEMAIRE and student Kpl. Marcel JACOB were killed.
