Bristol 14 & 17 F.2B/Bristol 300 |

In March 1922 the Bristol Company offered a Bristol 14 F.2B Fighter to the Belgian Queen Elisabeth after having offered a similar machine to King Albert on 14 May 1920.
The all-white aircraft was operated by n° 6 squadron based at Evere airfield.

Bristol 17 F2B's are strated (by hand !!!) at Evere airfield before the departure for Rotterdam (Nl.) where a squadron of the III group participated at the International Flying Competition of 1922.

This aircraft with serial L63 was a Bristol 300, indicating that it is one of 40 Sabca-build Bristol 17 F.2B type IV's.

This Bristol 17 F2B has an unfortunate encounter with a train, but damage seems to be limited.

Early 1927, Bristol 300 L-64 of the Evere based Reconnaissance Units was damaged in a ground collision with E-41 (?) at Evere airfield.
