The R.S.V 26-180 was an improved version of the successful R.S.V. 32-90 trainer.
The wing surface was reduced to 26m2, a new tail was adopted and the machine received a 180 hp. Hispano engine.
A total of 16 R.S.V. 26-180 were build, one of which was equipped with floats and wheels, making it a versatile amphibious aircraft.
Unfortunately, although a lot of interest was shown in the aircraft, no further orders followed.
