This Miles M.11A Whitney Straight, with c/n 306, received its CoA as OO-UMK on 3 February 1937 which was issued to M.Camille Gutt. On 27 July 1938 it was sold and registered to Airwork Ltd., Heston as G-AFJJ (as part exchange for the Monarch OO-UMK, which see). On 23 August 1940 the aircraft was impressed as BD168 for 271 Squadron RAF and damaged beyond repair in a forced landing near Andover (U.K.) on 1 August 1944.
