
In 1956, the Sikorky S.58C was ordered to replace the smaller S.55 on the short range lines between Belgium and its neighboring countries. Sikorsky S.58C c/n 58.432 OO-SHO is pictured here. The Sabena helicopter lines were finally abandoned in the mid-sixties, as their operation proved non-economical compared to short range aircraft.
