|RTL Télévie 2007 at Techspace Aero|
On 21 April 2007, Techspace Aero organised a charity event in the framework of RTL Télévie 2007 to raise money for scientific research on cancer and leukaemia. In addition to a number of local companies and organisations, the Ministry of Defence lend a helping hand to make this initiative a success. The crane, from which the Para Commandoes organised rappels for daring youngsters, was an ideal spot to have a somewhat different look at the small static show.

Techspace Aero not only builds engines or engine parts for high-performance military jets, but also for commercial aircraft and space launch vehicles. On the left is a CFM56, which powers the Airbus A320 and A340 as well as the Boeing 737 passenger aircraft. The small but very powerful engine on the right is a Snecma HM7B, which can be found on the third stage of the Ariane 1 to 4 rockets and on the upper stage of the Ariane 5-ECA.
