Schaffen - Diest Oldtimer Fly-In 2010 |
|
Although plagued with some uncertain weather, this years' International Oldtimer Fly-in at Schaffen-Diest airfield again was one of the Belgian airshow scene's best venues. The usual relaxed and easy going attitude set in a remarkably beautiful landscape is a delight for every aviation enthusiast. This open atmosphere allows a lot of communication between all participants and visitors which is rather unique. The visitor feels himself "embedded"... and isn't this exactly what it’s all about? A photographic report:
De Havilland DH82A Tiger Moth registered N929S is doing its outmost to make people believe it is the very "British" G-ACDR.
Although based at Wevelgem SNCAN SV4 OO-VSV 'Esprit de P'tit Louis' brought a French touch.
