On October 10th, 2010 the Stampe & Vertongen Museum rolled out in the open air some of their planes that are normally on exhibition at the museum.

Many people were curious to experience this event, the fine weather also contributed to make it a success.

The first one to be rolled out was the Fokker E.V (N111EV) complete with pilot in 1920's style flying suit. The engine started without any problem.

Nieuport 28 (N128CX), revving up...

 The Nieuport 24's (N2262G) engine was slightly more stubborn to start, but after some priming provided the spectators with the beautiful sound and caster oil smell of it’s original 1918 rotation engine. Superb !

 "Vhere ist ther enemy..."  Albatros D.Va (N986RS) complete with "German" pilot ready to go...

The Fouga Magister MT-13 (now on display at the museum) was a silent witness to the event and watched it with much approval.
