Airbus
A320-214 OO-SNA is seen returning at Brussels airport on a flight
from Madrid on 25 April 2011. OO-SNA is the first of the type for
the Belgian carrier. A few days earlier, it was joined by a second
aircraft of the same type, which can be seen parked in the
background, under the nose of OO-SNA.
Both
Airbus A320-214, OO-SNA (c/n 1441) and OO-SNB (c/n 1493) were built
in 2001 and subsequently delivered as D-ALTC and D-ALTD to the
German carrier LTU in April and June 2001 respectively. After LTU
merged with Air Berlin, both aircraft were transferred to Air Berlin
in November 2007.
D-ALTC
was delivered from Düsseldorf to Brussels on 11 February 2011 and
started regular passenger service on 22 April 2011. The second
Airbus A320-214 arrived in Brussels on 21 April 2011 in full
Brussels Airlines colours, but with its new serial number OO-SNB
still covered by D-ALTD.
